WHAT IS GMT?

Global Medical Training (GMT) is an international, non-profit, and humanitarian organization that provides sustainable free medical and dental services in developing communities in Central and South American countries such as Peru, Panama, Nicaragua, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic. Students gain experience in global health volunteer work, participate in educational and public health projects, and have the unique opportunity to directly participate in “hands-on” diagnoses and treatments under the supervision of local medical professionals. This is why our motto is “Learn by Doing.”
